Born in 1990, Tokyo.
Koichi Sato is an artist based in Japan. Intrigued by how the desires of industrial society come into contact with non-human entities such as the natural environment and flora/fauna, he conducts fieldwork. In addition to his primary medium of video, he incorporates "non-visual elements" such as scent and sound into his installation works.
